The #FeedYourFuture $1,000 Scholarship is now open until Thursday, Nov. 30. The application is quick and simple with a couple of requirements:

  • Students must be currently enrolled in a postsecondary school with at least one semester left after 2023.

  • Students must also be studying agriculture or intending to pursue a career in agriculture.

Washington Sustainable Forestry Initiative Scholarship

The Washington State Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) Implementation Committee (WASIC) is accepting scholarship applications from students pursuing an education in Forestry or Natural Resources.

The scholarship is available to high school seniors, who will be attending, full-time (at least 12 units) during the 2023-2024 school year, a Forestry or Natural Resource program at one of the following schools:

• University of Washington, Seattle

• Washington State University, Pullman

• Green River Community College

• Spokane Community College

• Grays Harbor College

or any SAF accredited Forestry or Natural Resource program

Washington State School Retirees' Association Scholarship Opportunities

The Washington State School Retirees' Association has a scholarship program for graduating seniors going to college to pursue a degree in Education:

  • WSSR Foundation Scholarships: $2500 each (8 total- One per Area)

  • WSSR Foundation Scholarship $1500 each (8 total -One per Area)

  • WSSR Robert Handy Scholarships $900 per year renewable for 4 years {16 total Two per Area)

  • Gene Forrester Memorial Scholarship: For Students going into Agriculture Education at Washington State University Scholarship $2000 {Two Awards)
