There are some special competitions that take place at convention: Chapter Scrapbook, Quiz Bowl, and National Chapter presentations.  Not officially recognized CDEs, Scrapbook & Quiz Bowl events have become staples of the convention experience for many chapters. 

SCRAPBOOK

An opportunity for chapters to create an annual pictorial record of their Program of Activities (POA), the Scrapbook event highlights originality, use of written materials and pictures, as well as neatness and conciseness. Scrapbook participants should register through their chapter registration in JudgingCard.

Update for 2023: The Official FFA Scrapbook is no longer available through the FFA Shop. A 12'“x12” scrapbook will be accepted. Teams will not be penalized for not submitting official FFA scrapbook material as long as all other requirements/guidelines are met.

QUIZ BOWL

The Quiz Bowl event requires participants to access a vast collection of knowledge about FFA and agriculture in general, all while utilizing their lightning-quick reflexes to answer before the opposing team. Limited to the newest members of our organization - 7th & 8th grade members - the Quiz Bowl event helps prepare students for a successful career in agriculture while developing their leadership and critical thinking skills. 

Quiz Bowl participants should register through their chapter registration in JudgingCard. Contest outlinese are detailed below.
