Programs and Activities

The three major components of any Agriculture Education program include

• Classroom instruction
• Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE)
• FFA (Intracurricular Leadership)

As a demonstration of the classroom instruction that is provided in the schools, SAE and FFA experiences offer the opportunity to place education in action.

Washington FFA encourages participation in both the SAE and intracurricular leadership to reinforce the classroom instruction. Our Career Development Events parallel those offered nationally by the National FFA Organization, while also adding opportunities for localized events that reflect the agriculture industry in Washington State.
